What about Graphics Cards? Nvidia has CUDA and PhysX, but ATI has Direct X 11. I have no idea which is the best thing to get? With the ATI 5870 you get DX11 but have to buy an extra card to get PhysX. My head is about to explode!!!

Unfortunately I'm in the military and it IS mandated. I haven't gotten mine yet but probably will during my next drill weekend in a couple weeks. We're also waiting to get the Swine shot in stock here at my base and will be getting that one too.

IMO the latest Vista surpasses XP for gaming. From what I've seen of W7 so far it exceeds Vista. I would not be wary of W7 as I was of the initial release of W7. Like it or lump it, W7 is the path forward.
