If you just want to get online and furball buy RB or any other old wwI sim,,,but if you want a true realistic experience buy ROF.

Thanks WWBrian,,it is very confusing but interesting that we can have both at the same time. Now if only I could get Win 7 to remember resolution and day, date and time.

None of the Falcon installs meet all those requirements, it'll be best to move on and keep looking. Good luck.

Looks real comfortable, but aren't the stick and throttle a bit close to your body like this? I would've made the arm rests some 15-20 centimeters longer (I guess at least).

lol.. sitting here in embarressment now, the simple solution to getting it working was to update my trackir so OFP is now in the game list.. god, I'm getting old!

The re-size seems to help, Ade, if you want the smaller gun muzzle flashes. --------- I ran through Nad's stuff, and finally found his "bluish" gun flashes, which you may prefer as more realistic. They are said to be closer to true machine

Hello chaps, I'm getting an uncommanded pitch up of about 2-3 degrees whilst firing guns using the Hellcat, specifically the -3, but only with a loudout, not default. Once I've expended rockets and bombs every time I fire my .50s I get a kick back

welcome! recently i have been studying other games: Flanker 2.5 and LockOn. and found many differences in the physics aspect of these games, everyone has its advantages and disavantages. my knowledge on how PSF calculates aircraft motion is incomplet

The two images are quite fascinating . It's disappointing that such game data as a certain gun's muzzle velocity in IL2 have never been made public.
General - Combat Helicopter Simulations
It flickers in any view, but it's very infrequent, like once every 20-30 seconds or so, and just a minor flit. I even get something similar on my XP desktop, and I think it might be more due to video driver compatibility than anything else.

Update: So I ordered a PSU (TX750) because it only takes a week for a new PSU to come and RMA videocard takes at least 2 weeks. While I was waiting for the new PSU to come, I removed the 4870 and leave only 1 stick of ram and used the onboard video
