Got both. It's been less and less worth it though due to the limited variety of games on console. I've gone from 100% console gaming to 99% pc over the last 2-3 years because of that.

Want top end hardware? Want to be able to upgrade that hardware to stay on the cutting edge? Want your storage to be gauged in TB and not pay through the nose to expand? Want a RAM drive? Want to repair your own system and have easy access to parts?

Check which sound settings are required. IIRC for HSFX it needs to be 22kHz. Not sure if that would fix it, but it's one thing to check.
