I do not know. I just dig up the disk (having good memories), as I read about 1.28C. Copied the files mentioned in the install note, run the install, and thats it. Tried to install the original, but had errors already with the setup.exe.

That is strange. I have Vista 32 and a Radeon 4600 card and no problems other than the garbled map screen. Vista is blissfully unaware that I have EAW as the EAW folder is copied and was never installed. Does vanilla 1.2 run on your PC? Jel

Running on Vista32, radeon 3850. No intro video (just sound), and all menu screens are garbled. If I am clicking like an idiot everywhere, and lucky enough, I can get to the 3d flying part, thats more than perfect, making the issue worse. ;-)
