i have been getting the same, just finishes mid flight, randomly.Game completely shuts shut down and is not running in processes's , have not seen an il2 crash until 4.11 and the hotfix.

It really is a lovely graphics engine too, detail is amazing. Troops use bounding overwatch to move forward which doesn't happen often in RTS games.

Different. As to the specifics, I'll let others elaborate, but from what I understand, a lot of things have changed (AI, tactics, etc.). The fact that BMS supports a fully-working 3D cockpit makes it way better than AF straightaway.
