Piece of Cake (Cassell Military Paperbacks) (Paperback) by Derek Robinson

DVD Piece of Cake (1988) The BBC miniseries has beautiful cinematography and lots of gorgeous Spitfire flying footage (the book is about a Hurri squadron, but not enough Hurries to film, so a Spit unit in the series). I saw the miniseries for the first time on PBS's Masterpiece Theater in the mid '90s and realized that every pilot in the series was a personality I had run into in my real squadron tours. That's what got me hooked. Superb Brit wit as well. Anyway, most highly recommended. I'd say really, an absolute MUST SEE/READ for you. Both book and series will enhance your depth of understanding of history - and add to immersion when you fly BOB II.

DVD Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970)
