Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942

System Requirements

I should mention that in the preview version I would get major graphic burns when I tried to play with AA on. Once AA was disabled, the game ran fine but then the jaggies were there. Nothing has changed with the release version. I still cannot have AA on; if I do I get a white burn out image within seconds of starting a mission.

I should also mention that on my system, with everything set to maximum (except anti-aliasing disabled) that I was getting a frame rate lock of 60 fps in the preview version but in this release version my FPS is around 35. There also seems to be a memory leak or something going-on in the background. At least for me. I start out in the high 30’s fps, in an hour or two, it drops to the low 30’s, then after a few hours of play it starts dipping into the teens. I don’t know how a preview copy can run better then the release version but on my system it does. And I haven’t changed anything on my system.

Here are the Steel Fury system requirements:

  • OS: Windows 2000, XP, or Vista
  • CPU: 2 GHz Intel Pentium or AMD Athlon
  • RAM: 512 MB, (1 GB for Vista)
  • Video: 128 MB Direct X 9.0c compatible
  • Sound: Direct X 9 compatible
  • Hard drive space: 2GB
