Introduction

Once again it is my pleasure to present an interview with Vladimir Zayarniy, CEO of Graviteam about a soon to be released armor title. In this interview I got the chance to talk with Vlad about Graviteam’s Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943, a historical wargame soon to be released to the western markets.

Robert: My first question Vlad, why the name changed from Front Roads: Kharkov 1943 to Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943 for this release?

Vladimir: Our international publisher, Paradox Interactive, decided to change the title. I suppose the main reason was that “Achtung Panzer” sounds better.

Robert: Being Front Roads Kharkov 1943 was released to the Russian market in the last quarter of 2009, will Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943 have any game patches already installed?

Vladimir: Sure. All patches and updates published for the Russian version are included in Achtung Panzer.

Robert: Up to now we have seen only Russian demo of the game. Are there any differences between Russian and English release?

Vladimir: Russian demo was published in July 2009. Since that time we’ve worked hard to improve the game and now there are several updates available for the Russian version.
